Earl’s Gone Wild California Barbecue Sauce began from a need to serve large groups of hungry entertainers when Earle worked as a crew member at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, California.
On weekends he hosted barbecues on the loading dock, feeding stage crews and visiting artists. Week after week he refined his recipe while serving performers such as James Ingram, Roberta Flack, Gregory Hines, and many more.
The result is a versatile tomato-based BBQ sauce with just the right balance of sweet and heat. Subtle spices and a slightly sweet flavor make it perfect for chicken, ribs, roasts, steaks, fish, or grilled vegetables. From backyard barbecues to barbecue chicken pizza, this is your small-batch gourmet barbecue sauce for a true California grilling experience.
