There Is an Earl!
Earl’s Gone Wild California Barbecue Sauce began from a need to serve large groups of hungry entertainers when Earl was working as a crew member at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, California.
On weekends, Earl hosted barbecues on the loading dock for visiting performers and crew members. It required a lot of sauce, so week after week he refined his recipe, serving artists like James Ingram, Roberta Flack, Gregory Hines, and many others.
The result is a versatile barbecue sauce with just the right balance of sweet and heat, perfect for chicken, ribs, roasts, steaks, fish, and grilled vegetables.
